GOD LOVES US
God loves us, and He knows we
need Him to make our lives complete.
"God loved the world so
much that he gave his one and only son. Anyone who believes in him
will not die but will have eternal life." John 3:16
WE ARE ALL SINNERS
No one in this world has ever
been completely perfect except Jesus. We all do things that are wrong.
"Everyone has sinned. No
one measures up to God's glory." Romans 3:23
SIN COMES BETWEEN US AND GOD
"When you sin, the pay you
get is death." Romans 6:23
BUT GOD OFFERS US ETERNAL
LIFE AS A GIFT
The Lord Jesus Christ came to
this earth to give up His life to pay for our sins. Then he came back
to life again to give us new life --- eternal life.
"But God gives you the gift
of eternal life because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done."
Romans 6:23
"God's grace has saved you
because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn’t come
from anything you do. It is God's gift&ldots;No one can brag about
earning it." Ephesians 2:8-9
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN
"I am the way and the truth and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6
IF WE ACCEPT HIM, WE BECOME
GOD'S CHILDREN
To accept or receive Him means
we admit that we need someone to take away our sin, and we trust
Jesus to do that for us. Jesus was both God and man. He had no sin of
His own, so by dying for us, He could pay the death penalty we
deserved for our sins.
"All of us are like sheep.
We have wandered away from God. All of us have turned to our own way.
And the Lord has placed on his servant the sins of all of us."
Isaiah 53:6
WE CAN BE SURE WE HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE
"I'm writing these things
to you who believe in the name of the Son of God. I'm doing it so you
will know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5:13
"There are many rooms in my
Father's house. If this were not true, I would have told you. I am
going there to prepare a place for you. If I go and do that, I will
come back and I will take you to be with me. Then you will also be
where I am." John 14:2-3
DON'T LET SIN COME BETWEEN
YOU AND GOD ANYMORE
Confess sin whenever you become
aware of it.
"But God is faithful and
fair. If we admit that we have sinned, he will forgive us our sins.
He will forgive every wrong thing we have done. He will make us
pure." 1 John 1:9
PASS ON THE GOOD NEWS
"When you say, "Jesus
is Lord." And believe in your heart that God raised him from the
dead. Then you will be saved. With your heart you believe and made
right with God. With your mouth you say that Jesus is Lord. And so
you are saved." Romans 10:9-10
[Jesus said]
"So you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them
in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure
that I am always with you, to the very end." Matthew
28:19-20
